Our style
Our wedding films are timeless. Trends change from year to year, but a wedding film is forever. When you watch your wedding film 10 years from now, you want to see the important moments captured clearly, rather than a specific style that was trendy at the moment.
We use natural colors in our films. In Puerto Vallarta, we have bright sun, colorful Mexican scenery, and vivid tropical colors. In order to keep our films timeless, we keep the colors true to life without desaturating them or adding filters.
We also use natural, true to life color in our photographs, but our photographers also sometimes add black and white photos to the gallery, as an artistic touch, that still keeps the timelessness of the images.
How we work
With many years of experience filming weddings in Vallarta, we’ve assembled a team and developed workflow that makes adding video to your wedding day seamless and non-intrusive.
We work as a team of up to 6 people, including 2 women and 4 men. Each person is responsible for specific areas of coverage during the wedding day. We are a mix of Americans and Mexicans who speak English and Spanish.
Our dedicated drone pilot arrives before the ceremony to film establishing shots of the venue. Our female videographers film the getting ready with the bride and bridesmaids. Our male videographers film the getting ready with the groom and groomsmen. The team splits to film the ceremony area details before the ceremony, and set up audio and video for the ceremony. Our drone pilot flies during the ceremony to capture the bride walking down the aisle and get some cool wide shots of the actual wedding, to show the amazing spot where you get married. (Vallarta has so many awesome locations that are best seen from the drone’s point of view!)
After the ceremony, the team splits again for the newlywed photo session and cocktail hour, coming back together for the grand entrance, dinner, speeches, and dances. We set lights and microphones for speeches, to make sure that every word is fully captured.
Our drone pilot flies during cocktail hour and dancing, giving you a sunset and nighttime bird’s eye view of the venue, showing all of the lighting that you’ve chosen to bring the party to life as day turns to night.
If you’ve chosen full day coverage with a same-day edit teaser film, one of our videographers switches to editing after the ceremony so that your teaser film will be ready and posted by the end of the night! This is the advantage of having the full crew! Imagine having a professionally filmed and edited short video already posted to Instagram while you’re still dancing the night away! Before you go to bed, your friends and family have already commented. By the time you wake up in the morning, your whole network has been able to see the sneak peek and you didn’t even have to worry about posting yourself, you were able to be fully present and enjoy your new spouse.
