Alva & Enoc were married in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Cathedral (Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe), where Alva had been a member of the congregation as a child. Due to her special connection to the church, she was allowed to ring the church bell before the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony, the wedding party and all the guests walked from the church, down the boardwalk (malecón) to Oscar’s Restaurant for the reception, complete with a mariachi band following them the whole way!
They rounded out their special day with dinner, dancing, and fireworks at Oscar’s, between the ocean and the Rio Cuale. Watch their wedding highlight reel below.
